Brian Kopp’s Alliance Leveling Guide Review – Taking a Look at Brian Kopp’s Leveling Guide

The mandatory introduction

Brian Kopp’s Alliance Leveling Guide is one of the first ones many people hear about online. It brags that a player can go from 1-60 in under 6 days /played, and go from 60-70 in about the same. Certainly faster than you would level on your own. And make note that these times were made before the 2.3 patch reduced leveling time.

But is Brian Kopp’s guide for real, or is he merely using his own amazing leveling speed to sell a useless guide? Find out in this review.

How’s this work?

The fastest way to level has always been questing. People who think grinding is better are either daft or really bad at questing. A player who knows a zone will level even faster than a smart newbie, by chaining together nearby quests and not wasting as much time. An expert will do this even better.

I wouldn’t say Brian Kopp’s leveling guide makes you an expert instantly, but you certainly won’t do better your first time through a zone. Once or twice there was a decision that made me go “Hmmm….” but mostly the guide is spot-on.

And unlike Joanna’s Horde Leveling Guide, a similarly popular WoW leveling guide, this one never had be thinking “How the hell can I kill these things, I’m not a Hunter or a Warlock!”

Like a lot of leveling guides, certain classes with less PvE clout will benefit from being a level or two higher than the guide says, to make things easier…but this isn’t necessary.

A few people with no experience with these guides are no doubt wondering how knowing the quest order helps if you have never done them before. Well, the Brian Kopp’s guide uses map coordinates liberally, giving you a simple connect-the-dot order to travel in. Even better, it comes with…

An addon

The addon unveils your entire map and puts markers on every key point covered in the guide. While it lacks the polished functionality of the Team iDemise Guide’s addon, or the level of detail Joanna’s Horde Leveling Guide provides with its YouTube videos, it is certainly better than nothing.

Still, you will need to alt-tab back and forth to check the next step in the guide if you don’t have dual-monitors or at least a printout of the guide.

World Of Warcraft Horde Leveling Guide – Joana’s – Burning Crusade – Outland

This isn’t your run of the mill guide, it takes you exactly step by step, provides links to a maps addon, video to watch his technique, and suggestions on a variety of things, from talent point allocation to maximizing time played.

This guide is totally updated for the Burning Crusade Expansion pack and more content was added and is now fully updated for the 2.3 patch that recently came out. It has Outland 60-70, Horde 1-70, Blood Elfs leveling and more

Joana has demonstrated his credibility and was the first to hold the leveling record – He has proven his skills on several servers and has honed his time and skills as new patches came out.

His guide I will recommend therefore. for those who are less skilled and even for those who are skilled this is an excellent resource. It also has videos to accompany the instructions. The instructions are clear and well though out.

This guide is also good for those people that due to lack of time do not have the ability to figure things out easily and then can have lots of fun leveling quickly and some might not get there because they are looking in the wrong places and/or are using the wrong sources and techniques.

One of the key features I liked about this guide is that it offer lifetime updates which we know is a big plus.

At a price of $37 dollars for a guide that will be constantly updated as new patches and such come are released is truly a bargain I think. Especially when you consider that there are players out there who easily spend this much on buying wow gold and characters every day!

A resource like Joana’s guide allows you to experience the game and you don’t have to do a speed run, you can also practice trade skills and you can do that and level at a reasonable pace.

This is all in all a very fine put together guide that will provide you lots of fun and in turn your friend and enemies will be impressed with your mastery of these levels 🙂

I was looking for some negatives about this guide but could not find any I am just patiently waiting till he decides to come out with the Alliance leveling guide.

Joana’s Leveling Guide – Best Guide Available

The World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King has finally arrived and you can now take your level from 70 to 80 or from 1 to 80 if you are new to the game with the latest edition. The new horde leveling guide by Joana now includes a new mapmod, which is very similar to the one that iDemise produced a few months ago. Joana’s WotLK guide became a part of the package which also includes the standart 1-70 leveling guide for complete newbies as well as Blood Elf and Hunter guide to add to the package.

Joana’s 1-80 horde leveling guide had been released before the Wrath of the Lich King was officially released. This is due to the release of the beta version that has been out for more than five months. Joana has been testing beta version of WoTLK so he had enough time to create the guide. This is the first release of a leveling guide for this game and it comes highly recommended.

If you are familiar with the other horde leveling guides that have been released by Joana, then you know the quality of the guides. The instructions are crystal clear and it is easy to follow along. There are pictures and video included with the guide to help you through every step of the game. In addition to the instructions, you will find a map mode which will help you by pointing out the quest and NPC coordinates on the game map itself. This feature is awesome because you won’t need to press alt+tab each time to find your nexr coordinate or instruction. Everything is right inside the game.

This is all you should need to get through Northrend. All you will have to do is open up the world map, choose your current level and then you should only follow the dots on your map and you can complete all the quests in World of Warcraft. There are also some instructions on finding the levels in the fastest way possible. The new guide covers all of the zones that are in Northrend that include both of the starting zones. The zones are covered in great detail to help you through the game. There are even some tips to show you which zone is better to help you get through it faster.

For those who are new to the game, it is in your best interest to follow along with the standard Joanas 1-70 horde leveling guide, which is a part of the package to start off with. The same detail applies to this guide and you will find that it is the best way for a newbie to get to the highest level. In fact, you should be able to get through all of the levels in a week with this guide. There are videos included with this guide as well and you will find all of Joanas techniques and strategies that will move you through the levels at a great speed.

There are some disadvantages to these guides, however. The guides are designed only for Horde. If you play a different character, these guides will not be any help to you. For those playing an alliance character it is recommended that you check out iDemise Alliance Guide which will help you much more.

There are a lot of positives about Joana’s Horde Leveling Guides. The guides are for newbies as well as experts in the game. So, if you are looking for something that is detailed and will get you through the levels in the quickest manner possible, then Joanas 1-80 horde leveling guide is for you.
